In the Podcast by Matt Payne
- Details
I am deeply honored to be featured on the podcast hosted by the renowned photographer Matt Payne. In our conversation, we explore the profound connections between music, nature, and photography as they relate to life on our extraordinary planet. I hope this discussion will further enrich the themes of the Dedicated to Life project.
Without a doubt, the most powerful experiences to emerge from this project are the two lecture concepts: “The World is like Music” and “Dedicated to Life – the Grand Performance.” I truly hope these can become a reality, offering an enriching experience for both the music and nature/photography worlds—something that has likely never been done before.

Lowland Photo Festival in Belgium
- Details
In December I had the great honor of giving a lecture at the Lowland Photo Festival in Belgium, this time with lecture concept number 1 - "To make Music with Images" (see more under The Project). Here a picture from this very nice event.
Work in progress

As part of the project, the past year alone (2025) has been filled with several exciting expeditions: Lanzarote (old volcanoes), Tanzania (Ndutu in Serengeti), Atacama Desert in Chile, Galapagos, Costa Rica and the most northern part of Norway. This year, among other things, the wilds of Svalbard in March-April and Bonaire in the Caribbean await. And also this year, Northern Norway, the Varanger Peninsula to be more precise.
The exciting work of realizing lecture concept number 2, “The World is like Music” has also begun, this in collaboration with a number of major photo festivals and symphony orchestras in Europe. If all goes as planned, it will premiere in 2027 or 2028.
A “sub-project” for Dedicated to Life is also in the works, “Spirit of Birds”. A book…;-)
